Operation Project HOPE is more than just a community service effort—it is a movement of transformation, heart, and vision. Each year, we dedicate ourselves to facilitating at least one to two large-scale Beautification Projects across Southern California (though our dream is to grow far beyond that!). With every project, we carry the HOPE of expanding our mission throughout our state, across the nation, and ultimately around the world.
We believe that when passionate people unite for a common purpose, the extraordinary becomes possible—and the impact is felt for generations.
Behind the scenes, the journey of each project takes 6 to 8 months of thoughtful planning, yet the transformation itself happens in just ONE incredible day. Throughout the preparation process, our team meets regularly with the school and its community to ensure that every detail reflects their unique needs, dreams, and spirit.
On Project Day, the ripple of transformation touches nearly every corner of the school, including:

During the 2025 year we had the honor of serving alongside the Leaders of Melvin Avenue Elementary. This years event was filled with HOPE, Love, and Excitement. Throughout the day we had over 400 volunteers come directly support the beautification of Melvin Avenue Elementary! We are thankful for the support from the community and most importantly our volunteers! without you, we could not make this Dream a Reality!

On April 25, 2026, Operation Project HOPE had the privilege of bringing another incredible Day of HOPE to Stanley Mosk Elementary School, where more than 410 volunteers came together with one goal: to create a brighter, more beautiful place for children to learn, grow, and dream.
With the support of our volunteers, partners, donors, and the amazing Stanley Mosk community, the campus was transformed through projects that included:
Our deepest gratitude goes to Rachelle Ratner and the entire Stanley Mosk team. Rachelle, your passion for your school, your students, and your community could be felt throughout this project. Thank you for trusting Operation Project HOPE with your campus and for working alongside us to turn a vision into something truly special.
To every volunteer who picked up a paintbrush, moved mulch, cleaned, planted, built, carried, or simply asked, “What can I do next?”—thank you. You were the heart of this project.
At Operation Project HOPE, the finished murals and transformed spaces are beautiful, but the greatest thing we build is community. For one unforgettable day, more than 410 people came together to show the students of Stanley Mosk that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by people who care.
That is HOPE. That is community. And that is Helping Other People Everyday.
On April 26, 2025, we had the honor of bringing this vision to life at Melvin Avenue Elementary School in Reseda, California, with the help of over 400 dedicated volunteers. Together with our partners, we turned a school’s dream into reality. Some of the unforgettable accomplishments from that day included:
At Operation Project HOPE, we don’t just renovate schools—we reignite dreams, restore pride, and remind communities of their own limitless potential. Together, we’re not just changing schools for a day—we’re changing lives for a lifetime.
